Newradient Sports Club has said that a new Chairman would be elected in the club's election to be held next month.

General Secretary of Newradient, Ahmed Niyaz said that Newradient is even now run as according to the rules and regulations on clubs and associations. He said that the current senior officials in the club are also elected.

According to Niyaz, the club hold elections once an year, but from next year onwards the election would be held once in every four years.

"When the election is held once an year, the tasks started by one executive committee cannot be completed within an year. So we have decided to elect the executive committee for a period of 4 years. We have now made the proposal to the registrar as well" Niyaaz said.

Niyaz said that only members of the club can vote and compete for posts in the upcoming election and that it would be publicly announced prior to the election.

The most important post to be elected would be the Chairman while Ali Azim who has been the club's Chairman for the past 4 years would not compete. The reason is that he would be the President of FAM for the coming 4 years and he has said that he would resign from the post of Newradient's Chairman in order to make the other clubs happy. Niyaz also said that Azim would not compete.

The door is open for everyone to stand for the post of Chairman, Niyaz said.

Although Newreadient has said that they hold election once an year, the media has not known about it. Victory is the only club which hold election in the presence of media.
